Bahamas Young Chef Competition Awards Ceremony
On Friday, November 21st, 2023, The Mahatma Rice and Robin Hood Flour sponsored Bahamas Young Chef Competition climaxed with its annual awards ceremony held at the Government High School.
Securing first place for the Junior Division was Lael Green from Inagua All Age School. Lael won a $650 scholarship from the Mahatma Rice.

Under the theme "Raising the Standard in the Pursuit of Excellence", R.M. Bailey Senior High School’s Class of 2024 was celebrated during a Commencement Exercise held on Tuesday, 18th June, 2024 at the Loyola Hall on Gladstone Road.

More than 400 graduates received their Associate Degrees, Certificates, and Diplomas from The Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute during the 2024 New Providence Commencement Ceremony at Bahamas Faith Ministries on July 2, 2024, under the theme “Mastering Skills and Crafting Excellence.”
The Bahamas’ Ministry of Education & Technical & Vocational Training (MOETVT) has responsibility for more than 50,000 K-12 students in approximately 170 educational institutions in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas, which are dispersed over 14 districts in the major islands. Our goal is to increase the graduation rate from 50% to 85% by 2030. The MOE aims to create an educational system that is technologically sound and competitive and that develops the strengths of each child, whether academic or otherwise, towards the maximum contribution that he/she is able to make to the national development of The Bahamas.
